The Best Trying To Conceive Tips

These are the best trying to conceive tips that I have found when I was on my quest to 'get pregnant'. A lot of women just have sex, and hope for the best. For some women, this will be all they need (these are the extra fertile ones!) For others (that was me!) there are some things that you can do to help you conceive. So... Let's not waste time, we'll get straight to it!

Trying To Conceive Tips - Get To Know Your Body

There are only around 24 hours in every month when you can get pregnant. That is the day when your ovaries will release one tiny egg, that is ovulation. The egg will only last for around 24 hours and then that's your chance over for another month. So my first of the trying to conceive tips is:

Learn to track ovulation.

This can be done with an ovulation kit. You can now buy digital ovulation kits, which are well worth the money. Or you can get the good old fashioned ovulation strips. You could also track your cycle using the BBT method (basal body temperature) although this can be quite tricky. Learn more about the BBT method. Other ways to track ovulation are through vaginal discharge, around the time of ovulation it will become rather like egg white, very slippery and stretchy. Some women claim that they can feel when they ovulate by a slight cramping feeling, or light pain in their lower abdomen. Follow your body's signals, if you're feeling very 'frisky' you may be ovulating too!

Trying to conceive tips - The 'when' tip!

Some women have a menstrual cycle which is as regular as clockwork, and if that's you then once you know when you will ovulate, have sex at that time! If you're maybe not so regular, then you can have sex every couple of days for a few days before ovulation may happen, to a few days after. This keeps a constant supply of sperm ready and waiting for when the egg is released.

Trying to conceive tips - For him!

Not forgetting your partner in all of this, there are things that your man can do help you to conceive. You may have heard this before, but sperm prefer a cool living environment, so no hot baths, and get him to wear some loose undies - boxers are great for keeping sperm happy!

My personal tips to help you conceive

You may think these two tips are a bit silly and no way could they work, but I genuinely believe that they worked for me.

Have sex in the morning, some experts believe that sperm are far more active after a good nights rest! And number 2 - Relax, don't become fixated on just getting pregnant. Have fun and don't let sex become a chore that you're solely doing for one reason. When you get to the stage that you want a baby so badly that nothing else matters, you need to take a step back and relax, having a tensed and stressed body won't help you to conceive.

My personal recommendations

If you're looking for a little more than just a few trying to conceive tips, I can recommend two great books.

The first is for women that are struggling to get pregnant and need some extra help. It's called Pregnancy Miracle If you think you may be infertile, or you are suffering with PCOS or fibroids, or any other problem that may stop you from conceiving then this book could help you.

The next book is called Personal Path To Pregnancy and whether you have been trying to get pregnant for a while or you've only just decided to try, this book can help speed up the process. Giving great techniques and strategies to help you conceive quickly and easily. If you want lots of information giving you the very best chance to get pregnant, then this book is for you.
