Of all of the tips on potty training, this is the most obvious! Sing her praises every time she uses the potty. Lots of hugs and telling her how well she's done. - Potty training tip 4
Find a special potty that your child will just love to use. Musical pottys can be a big hit. You can also get pottys with a shape at the bottom, when your toddler does a wee, the shape will change to something different, maybe a star. - Potty training tip 5
Try using a sticker chart, you'll be amazed at how toddlers love stickers! - Potty training tip 6
Let your child chose some special pants, maybe with a fairytale or cartoon character they love. Winnie the pooh or Teletubbies for example, then when they wear them, tell them 'not to wet Winnie' or 'You have to keep Dipsy dry!' - Potty training tip 7

The most important tip of all is to keep it fun and relaxed. If your child has an accident and you show anger or frustration, she may get anxious about using the potty and you could end up back at square one. If she does have an accident just tell her " That would be better in the potty next time!" but say it in a kind way.
Some of the more basic tips on potty training - Leave the potty around the room so your child can get used to it.
- Let her walk around with no nappy.
