The Timeline Of Fetal Development
The timeline of fetal development starts from when the egg is fertilized. One tiny cell will develop and multiply forming a new life. At first the new life is called an embryo, then after around 3 months it becomes a fetus, and finally onto a fully formed baby.
Embryo fetal development begins in your first trimester. In these first 3 months some amazing things will happen, your baby will start to form fingers and toes, her heart and lungs will start to form. Towards the end of the first trimester at around 9 weeks, your baby will start to develop her facial features.
