Natural Remedies For Morning Sickness

natural remedy ginger

Natural remedies for morning sickness can range from sweets to bracelets, to CD's and teabags,
but it's important to remember that what works for one woman may not have the same effect for you.

If your nausea is very severe and you can't keep food and fluids down at all, then natural cures for morning sickness may not be what you need. A trip to see your doctor is advisable with severe morning sickness.

Morning sickness - Natural remedies

  • Ginger tea - You can make ginger tea easily by pouring boiling water over a teaspoon of grated ginger root. You can adjust the taste using honey and lemon if just ginger alone isn't your sort of drink. Do be aware though that for some women ginger can make morning sickness symptoms worse.

  • Ginger biscuits, ginger ale, anything with ginger may help.

  • Anise seeds can be used to make a tea. Many women around the world swear by Anise to help with heartburn and nausea.

  • Homeopathy physicians may be able to help. Look in your yellow pages and find one close by.

  • A wide range of sweets and lollies may be available from your local pharmacy or health store. These are made with natural herbs and essential oils, and although some women swear by them, others state that it makes them feel worse!

  • Acupressure is widely available and many pregnant women have been helped by using this to ease off morning sickness. You can buy bracelets, or check out this ebook Click Here

Prevention may be worth a try along with any natural remedies for morning sickness. Some women find it helps to eat smaller meals, but more frequently. So try 5 or 6 smaller meals rather than 3 large ones.

Don't get out of bed too quickly in the morning, try lying still for a while.

And if your morning sickness really is that bad that you can't keep anything down then do go and see your doctor.
