So why don't babies come complete with instructions! Well if they did, every instruction book would have to be different... as no two new babies are the same, and no two babies will act, develop or behave in the same way.

Whether you already have a new baby, you're pregnant or maybe you're just thinking about starting a family, there's alot to take in!

I'm Julie, mum of two, and I would like to use some of my experiences with my babies to help you settle in with yours.

Whether you're newly pregnant, or your tiny bundle is already here. If you're a first time mum, or dad, things can be pretty scary. To think that your new baby is totally relying on you to do every single thing for him, well... its easy to feel overwhelmed and out of your depth. Being a parent should be, and can be the most rewarding and joyous experience in your life. We all have our bad days where we feel that we can't do anything right, but with a little patience and alot of love, we can still be the best parents in the world!

My Two children, Joseph aged 7 and Lauren aged 3 have very different personalities, react differently to certain situations, and have reached various milestones at very different speeds. Both of my children have taken different stages in their development from one extreme to another.

Hopefully this is where I can help you with your new baby, A few tips and a little friendly advice right from day one, and beyond to toddlerhood!, now what fun that is :-) And I won't hold back, I will tell you the good and the bad, about everything! Sleep problems, feeding, What to expect in pregnancy and birth! Ouch! Yes it does hurt, although like people told me... You soon forget.

I will share with you, some of the obstacles I've overcome, and give you a few tips on some very common problems that can arise in this wonderful time in your life. So from one parent to another, grab a cuppa, have a good look around and find some answers to your most important questions.

A quick tip to start you off... Although you may feel scared and overwhelmed by this new little bundle of life, take your time, relax, and enjoy him as much as you can. Never wish the time away. I always used to say things like " I wish Joe was walking" now he's 7 already, time goes so quickly when you're enjoying yourself, so take loads of photos, plenty of videos, and have fun!

And remember, a new baby is a miracle of life, think for a few minutes of the journey you've taken already. You and your new baby are now at the most important stage in your relationship... Bond and grow closer still!
