I used this Chinese calendar before I get pregnant, the calendar tells me that if I was pregnant for the month of march it was a baby boy. But when I gave birth for my first baby it was a baby girl.

Hi Sofia,

After doing a small poll based on the Chinese conception calendar, I came to the conclusion that it would be just as effective to flip a coin. The results of the poll came out 50-50, so basically the chart doesn't really work as it is supposed too. You can see the results of the poll here Chinese gender calendar

The only way to guarantee the conception of a little boy is to use a medical procedure called PGD , although some countries won't allow this process and if it is allowed by the powers that be, it is a very expensive procedure costing thousands of dollars.

Natural gender selection may be worth a look if you intend on having more children. Certain natural gender selection techniques are said to be able to tip the odds from 50-50 to a higher percentage. Some books claim to have a success rate as high as 94%.

Do remember that the only process that can truly guarantee the sex of your baby is PGD. Even other types of medically assisted gender selection methods such as 'sperm spinning and the Ericsson method' do not have a 100% success rate.
