How To Conceive A Boy
You Need The 'Boy' Sperm!

Do you want to know how to conceive a boy? Then you've found the right place. You can either go to your local fertility clinic, or you can give natural gender selection a chance!

Natural gender selection is not 100% successful, but it could help to tip the odds in favor of your preferred gender. Let's face it, right now you have a 50/50 chance of having a little boy, if you would like to increase the percentage then read on.

How to conceive a boy - Sperm characteristics

Ok, so how much do you really know about sperm? We've all seen the video's and cartoons of the little tadpole like creatures swimming round in a petri dish! Or even racing towards an egg... but is that it? or is there more to sperm than meets the eye!

When you think of sperm, do you ever think 'characteristics'? Do you ever wonder what abilities they possess? No - it's not something that most of us do, but believe it or not the specifics of sperm are very important!

The fact of the matter is that there are 2 different types of sperm. They differ in chromosome types, X bearing sperm will meet up with the egg and create a little girl, while Y bearing sperm will create a little boy. So... obviously if you want to know how to conceive a boy, well you need to give these Y bearing sperm a better chance than X.

X & Y - What's in a name?

Now X and Y, as we will call them from now on, are not only different in name, they also have different characteristics.

Remember that the Y sperm are the ones that we need, the male sperm. Y is much faster at swimming than his female competition, he is smaller, and can there for propel himself faster at his target. However, although X is bigger and slower, she will live longer and she is much more resilient to the acidic state that the vaginal mucus may be at the time of intercourse.

These factors play a very important role in natural gender selection and knowing how to conceive a boy. In theory you need to get Y to the egg before X even gets off the starting line, is this possible? Lot's of people now believe that it is.

Other factors to consider to conceive a boy

So what do we do with X sperm? Well, actually nothing, we're not trying to get rid of the other sperm. This is the process that would happen at a clinic with sperm sorting. Unfortunately even with a decent microscope that's a job that just isn't possible for us ladies (or the gents either) But what you do need to do, is make sure that the egg is ready and waiting for the boys to arrive! So timing of intercourse is crucial.

Making your body's pH level suitable can also help Y, he's easily destroyed and so needs a less acidic environment to carry out his task.

Many things make up the whole picture to know how to conceive a boy, but I think that sperm is the most important topic that needs to be covered. With that in mind, if you would like to research the subject further, then I would like to recommend the two fantastic books below.

Ashley Spencer - How to Choose The Gender Of Your Baby

The first e book is by a lady called Ashley Spencer, she researched her method after giving birth to 3 little boys. Desperate for a girl to complete her family, Ashley's husband found the info that they both desperately needed, in the form of a work colleague. His colleagues wife had just given birth to baby with a planned gender, and that gender was 'spot on'! Ashleys husband purchased the information from his work friend they got down to business. Ashley is now the proud mother of 3 little boys and one beautiful little baby girl. Check out Ashleys book to see exactly how she could teach you to conceive a boy, then click here.

Alicia Pennington - Prince or Princess

Alicia is a midwife, and after seeing how upset mothers could be when they didn't get their preferred gender choice, Alicia decided to do a little research. She attended preconception seminars, studied gender selection methods and interviewed many parents before she devised her very own gender selection method. As soon as she decided to start a family she tried out her method, with great success. She then offered her method to her patients, and found she had massive 94% success rate with them too. Do remember that natural gender selection will not guarantee the gender of your child. Only one medical method is around at this time that is capable of 100% success rate. That method is PGD, and will cost you thousands of dollars. The downside to PGD is unless it is used for prevention of genetic defects, many countries will not allow this process.
