  • Anise - Anise seeds can be used to make a soothing drink.It can help with the discomfort of heartburn. Many cultures around the world swear by this herb to reduce pregnancy sickness. The seeds should be crushed and steeped in hot water to prepare the tea.

Many women around the world use homeopathy to help treat the symptoms of sickness during pregnancy. Consult a homeopatic physician for directions on quantities and treatments available.

Another treatment that is becoming more widely acceptable now is acupressure. Applying pressure to certain pressure points on the body can help to alleviate the symptoms of morning sickness, as well as a whole host of other common ailments.
