Help To Conceive
by Cierra
(Warrensburg, Mo, U.S.)
Hi my name is Cierra.
I am a healthy 21 year old who would love nothing more then to have children with my husband. We have been trying to concieve for two and a half years now. I have some kind of hormonal imbalance that causes me to have a period only twice a year and my doctors don't think anything is seriously wrong.
I would just like to see if I could get any input on what I could do to start a family. Thank you for your time.

Is your doctor treating you for the hormonal imbalance? If not, I would go back and see if they can treat you in any way? Perhaps hormone tablets, or advise you on other things that you can do. Maybe you could enquire about seeing a fertility specialist.
If you believe that alternative therapies could help, then you could always try herbs, see more about
herbs here. or acupuncture, see more about
acupuncture here. These techniques may or may not work for you, but if you really want to conceive, then anything is worth a try.
Do try to relax, I know that's easy for me to say, but the more stress and tension you feel by not becoming pregnant, could actually be hampering your attempts.
Could it be possible that you may have PCOS? Take a look at more info on
PCOS (poly cystic ovary syndrome) Sorry I couldn't help more, but I think if you have an underlying medical problem, such as the hormone imbalance, then I would be tempted to go back to my GP.
Best of luck with this Cierra
Kind regards
Julie
