Top Tips To Getting Pregnant

We all need a little extra help at times, and searching for getting pregnant tips is a very popular subject on the internet. I should know, I did it! I searched for tips to help me conceive for 3 years. And then... it finally happened!

I'm not going to waffle on, just give you my top tips that I think could help you on your quest to become a mother.

Tips - Getting Pregnant

Try to learn about your menstrual cycle, the more you know, the better chance you have of conceiving.
Learn about ovulation and try to find out when you will ovulate. This can be done by ovulation testing kits, or using the BBT method.
Once you ovulate, that tiny egg will only last for around 24 hours. Sperm on the other hand can last 3 to 5 days. You need to have sex at the right time. Rather than having sex just on the day of ovulation, try having sex a day or two before as well, that way the sperm will be waiting when your egg is released by the ovary.
If you're not sure when you ovulate, have sex every 2 or 3 days, that way you are more likely to have sperm ready and waiting when you do ovulate.

The next two getting pregnant tips are the two that I believe helped me to conceive my son after 3 solid years of trying. They may seem silly, but for me... they worked!

Have sex in the morning, many people believe that sperm are much more active first thing.
Relax! I know, don't say it... "what does that have to do with getting pregnant!" But I personally believe that this can help some women. Although experts cannot agree whether being relaxed helps or not, it's certainly worth a try. As soon as I gave up hope of becoming a mother and stop focusing and obsessing on trying to get pregnant - It happened!
