Gender Selection Methods

There are many gender selection methods available in today's world. If it's medically assisted gender selection that you want to know about then click here for more info.

If your country or religion frowns upon medically assisted gender selection then you could always consider natural gender selection. There are many different natural gender selection methods that you could try. Find out as much as you can about each method and then give one a try, but you must be aware that natural sex selection methods cannot guarantee the sex of your baby. What it can do is help to tip the balance in favor of your preferred sex.

Natural Gender Selection Methods - Choices

  • The Shettles method - was written by a doctor who was a pioneer in infertility treatment. It has been widely used for the last 40 years or more, and has a success record of around 75% to 90%. Click here to read more about the Shettles method.

  • The Chinese Gender method - One of the oldest known gender selection methods has been around for thousands of years. Based on a chart with simple little blue and pink squares, you find your age, look for the color you want and then see which month you should conceive. Sounds easy... there may just be a little more to it than meets the eye. Find out more about Chinese gender selection.
  • The Ashley Spencer gender method - This is becoming more popular now and more widely used. Ashley uses a mixture of different techniques, from diet and pH levels, to timing of intercourse and intercourse positions. All info gathered into one book, offering a 94% success rate. Easy to master and helpful info. Read more about Ashley Spencer here.

  • The Gender Diet method - frogs and snails for a boy, sugar and spice for a girl! Well, not really but diet could play a part in the sex of the baby that you will conceive, see more on the gender diet.
  • The Jonas method (Lunar method) - This was founded in the 1950's and works on the basis that a womans monthly cycle, is actually a lunar fertility cycle. The phase of the moon when you were born signifies when you will be fertile, and the astrological sign signifies the sex that the baby will be!

  • Lydia Pinkhams Herbal compound - This has been around since the 1880's, but only recently it was thought that women taking this herbal compound were more likely to have daughters. More research is really needed on this method.

  • The O + 12 method - This is rather like a backward Shettle's method, and hasn't been widely studied.

Which ever gender selection method you choose to try (if any at all) Do remember that the sex of your baby will not be guaranteed. If that doesn't bother you then have fun, and good luck! If it does bother you, think how you would feel when your baby is born and it's not the sex that you wanted! If in doubt, don't even try it!
