Conceiving A Boy Timing Is Crucial!
For many couples conceiving a boy would be a way to balance their family. For people that already have a little girl (or girls!) or who maybe would like to have a son first, there are a few things that could help to sway to the odds, and maybe help you to conceive a boy. Firstly it is important to remember that only one type of gender selection will guarantee the gender of your baby 100%, and that is a medical method called PGD. That out of the way there are some natural gender selection methods that claim to up the odds of you conceiving a boy.
Learn about your body if you want to conceive a boy!
I'm not as young as I used to be, but I remember when I was young and fresh faced! How much did I actually know about my body? Not a lot! It wasn't until I was 25 and decided that I wanted to start a family that I actually started to take notice. It wasn't until I struggled getting pregnant that I actually started to research topics about my body, and my monthly menstrual cycle. Most of us know that we have a period, sometime in the next couple of weeks we will release an egg, if we have sex around that time we could get pregnant, and then if we don't it starts all over again with our next period. you may have heard of ovulation, but do you know exactly what that is? Ovulation is when your ovary releases an egg. Do you know when you will ovulate? Most women assume they ovulate 14 days after their period starts - Actually, not true! Most women ovualte 14 days before their period starts! Are you shocked? I know I was. So if you don't have this average 28 day cycle that experts talk about (which let's face it not a lot of us do) then you probably won't ovulate at day 14 of your cycle! If your cycle is for instance 25 days, your more likely to ovulate on day 11 and so on... Ok We've gone a little off topic here, but you must know when will ovulate when conceiving a boy, or trying to! So if you need to know more about ovulation then you can

Timing is everything for conceiving a boy!
Just a brief word on sperm, which you can read more about
here if you need too.
Sperm have very different characteristics. Boy sperm are faster, but will die off quicker, girl sperm are slower but will live for longer, so...Natural gender selection pioneers believe that one of the main techniques when trying to conceive a boy, is getting the boy sperm to the egg at the right time. Now obviously to do this, you need to know what we have just discussed above, which is when you will ovulate. Once you know this vital information, you will be able to plan when to have sex for conceiving a boy! Remember when planning the time to have intercourse, that your egg will only last for around 12 to 24 hours maximum. Now on the basis that male sperm travel faster than female sperm, you will need to have sex around the time of ovulation. In theory if the male sperm don't manage to fertilize the egg, the egg will have expired by the time those female sperm get there. Learn as much as you can to help you conceive a boy There are also other techniques that should be used in conjunction with the above methods to help increase the odds a little more. Gender selection diet is another method that lots of people are using. Altering your body's pH level can help with conceiving a boy. Some sexual positions are also said to favor and aid in conceiving a little boy. There are gender selection books around that will give you full instructions, because I'm not an expert on this matter. You will need much more information to help you balance your family gender. Two books that I have found, that both have rave reviews from the women who have used them are shown below. Click on the links to go directly to the authors website.
