Chinese Calendar For Gender

The Chinese calendar for gender (or the Chinese gender prediction calendar as it is otherwise known) is said to have been devised around 7,000 years ago. It was apparently found by a scientist, buried inside a tomb 700 years ago.

The Chinese always favoured having male children as they could work in the fields, whereas girls would stay at home until the marrying age of 16 or 17 years old. So until they got married and moved, they basically brought nothing into the family home, just expense! Chinese custom also states that only boys could inherit family property, and carry on the family business. This is why the Chinese calendar for gender was so popular.

The amazing benefits of the Chinese birth gender chart is that not only does it claim to tell you what gender of child you are carrying if you are already pregnant. It also claims to predict what sex your baby will be before you even conceive!

Chinese gender prediction calendar - The confusion begins!

To use the calendar correctly you should really know your Chinese lunar age. The Chinese believe that we are already one year old when we are born, so this complicates things a little! Along with their lunar months and everything else it really is quite confusing. If you are serious about using the Chinese birth gender chart, you may be wise to spend a little time first researching a reliable method to convert to your lunar age. I have found several ways of doing this, all giving a different age!

Once you have your lunar age, the chart below is fairly easy to use. Look up your lunar age along the left hand side, and then the month of conception (not birth) along the top. Follow the lines along, and where the two meet, you will either find a pink or a blue square, which are fairly self explanatory! Pink for a girl - Blue for a boy.

The Chinese calendar for gender is 'stated' to be around 90% accurate if you use the correct lunar age and month. Please do be aware that no guarantee is made when using this calendar for gender selection, the calendar should be used for fun purposes only. If you are willing to try and conceive a certain gender using this calendar, you may also be interested in other methods of natural gender selection.

I would be interested to hear from people who have used this chart, was it right for you? Did it accurately predict a boy or a girl? Use the form below to send me a message, and I may display it on this site.
