Baby Play - Play and Learn!

Baby play should be a very important feature of baby's life, right from very early on.

soft toy

Interacting with your baby through play builds that parental bond, as well as building confidence, visual awareness and co-ordination for baby.

In those first few months you will hear your baby laugh for the very first time, wouldn't it be great if he laughed while you were playing :-)

Lauren's first laugh was around two to three months and happened whilst we were playing peek-a-boo. It was fantastic and something I will never forget.

Books are a great way to interact and play with your baby. Click here to see baby play with books.

Ahhhh... Soft toys, take a look at some firm favourites here.

Want to play and learn at the same time, then are educational toys are the way to go?.

You don't have to have hundreds of toys for your baby, just a few will do to start.

If they are soft toys give them a wash every now and again because as baby grows, one of his favourite games will be putting the toys in his mouth. Any plastic toys can be sprayed down with detox or similar.

Keep a few toys out and put some others away for a couple of weeks, then you can rotate them and baby won't get bored with the same things.
