Baby Sleeping Bag - The Answer To Your Prayer

Do you have a wriggly nighttime baby? Then you need a baby sleeping bag (baby sleep sack). Lauren was a fidgety baby, which was Ok until bedtime! Every single night I would be up every couple of hours, pulling up her blankets and tucking her back in.

Lauren is the sort of baby that doesn't like staying in the same place for very long, even when she's sleeping. She went through a stage where she would turn a full 360 degrees in her cot. She would fall asleep how I'd tucked her in, when I checked her an hour later she would have her head where her feet had been and vice versa, next time she would be back upright.

This was ok during the summer months, as she didn't really get that cold, but when it got to winter and it was time to put on the blankets, she would kick them all off within an hour of being in bed. I was also worried that she might end up turning in the night, and get her head stuck under the blankets.

After a couple of hours searching on the internet I found the baby sleeping bag! I was expecting it be like a normal sleeping bag, but its not. I ordered one there and then, and waited for the postman to arrive with my parcel.

After zipping Lauren into her baby sleeping bag (slumbersac or baby sleep sack, whichever you prefer to call it!) she took to it straight the way, I checked her every hour or so, she had done her normal turning routine (a full lap around her cot!) but the sleeping bag followed her :-) She stayed warm and perfectly safe all night.

These sleeping bags are made by a company called Slumbersac, they do loads of different designs, and come in a range of different fabrics. There are 3 sizes, from birth up to about 36 months, and they come in 2 tog ratings. Lauren's was a cream fleecy one, she looked lovely in it!

You can check out the different styles and all the info you need at Slumbersac.com and they also ship worldwide.
