Baby Christening Invitations

On that special day for your baby, christening invitations - also know as christening announcements should be special too!

Your baby's christening day is a very special time for everyone involved, but the planning to make sure everything runs smoothly starts well in advance.

To make sure that everyone turns up, so that you can officially introduce your little 'star', you are going to need some christening invitations, but not just any old invitation! Even though it's only a little bit of card, most people will keep the invitation as a reminder of the day. So why not make it a little bit special.

Some stores now will personalise the invitation, including a photo of your baby, the time, date and venue (to save you hand writing it all - I'm sure your time could be much better spent) and a poem or verse that you have written especially for the ceremonial day. If you're not poetically minded then maybe a short prayer or verse from the bible.

A short verse to go inside the christening invitations (christening announcement) could be something like:

Our beloved little angel
Who was sent from above
Join and celebrate her christening
And surround her with your love

Or maybe a psalm:

May the lord give his angels
charge over you, to guide you
in all your ways
Psalm 91:11

Baby christening invitations can be ordered on-line and will be beautifully printed out and delivered to your door. Some sites allow you to download a template and print them out yourself, just do a quick search on Google for printable christening invitations.
